Swiss International Air Lines to raise fuel surcharges
AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
firing surcharges on long-haul, European and domestic flights are to be increased by dint of Swiss International Air Lines, effective 25 April.
The airline, which is confessed by German carrier Lufthansa AG, reportedly stated that the increase was necessary because of high oil prices.
According to The Associated Pres long-haul services will be make liable to a surcharge of CHF106 an increase upon the current charge of CHF93 In addition the surcharge forward European and domestic flights will increase from CHF29 to CHF32
